Assessment of mismatch negativity and P300 response in patients with disorders of consciousness

open access: yes, 2017
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate changes in mismatch negativity (MMN) and P300 response in vegetative state (VS) and minimally conscious state (MCS) patients before and after treatment, and their value for prediction of ...

Effects of musical meditation training on auditory mismatch negativity and p300 in normal children [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
The auditory mismatch negativity(MMN)and P300 of event-related potentials were compared in norreal children either with or without musical meditation training.

The effects of alcohol and temazepam upon mismatch negativity

open access: yes, 1996
Mismatch negativity is a component of the auditory event-related potential which is elicited by stimulus change following a series of homogenous stimuli.

Electrostatic Superlattices Beyond 1:1 Stoichiometry

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer‐mediated charge regulation drives two hierarchical routes to higher‐stoichiometry nanoparticle superlattices. Tuning the polymer's molecular weight promotes progressive interstitial filling, transforming ZnS into the fully occupied CaF2${\rm CaF}_2$ lattice. Exchanging polymer assignment between large and small nanoparticles instead breaks CsCl

Microscale Patterning of Ultrahigh‐Viscosity Metallic‐Polymer Composites via Embedded Droplet Writing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A hybrid additive manufacturing platform integrates direct droplet writing of metallic composite with VAT photopolymerization to fabricate architected soft magnetic composites. This approach enables microscale patterning of high‐viscosity materials for programmable actuators, adaptive fluidic devices, and switchable adhesives, offering tunable ...

EARLY CORTICAL PROCESSING OF LINGUISTIC PITCH PATTERNS AS REVEALED BY THE MISMATCH NEGATIVITY

open access: yes, 2009
Previous brain imaging studies have shown the left hemispheric dominance for processing of lexical tone in native speakers. However, the low temporal resolution related to neuroimaging techniques might not explicitly detect the brain activities that ...

Subjective present: a window of temporal integration indexed by mismatch negativity

open access: yes, 2015
It has been proposed that temporal perception is implemented in a "time window'' of approximately 3 s which we experience as "present''.

Enhanced Ferroelectric Phase Formation via Local Structure Modification in the Pre‐Crystalline State of Hafnium Zirconium Oxide Thin Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Hafnium zirconium oxide thin films are grown using plasma‐enhanced atomic layer deposition with the addition of an atomic layer annealing (ALA) step. ALA leads to a change in the short‐range structure of the deposit and encourages formation of the ferroelectric Pca21 phase. The result is wake‐up‐free performance with films exposed to ALA.

Advances in Solution‐Processed Textile Triboelectric Nanogenerators: Ink Formation, Processing Strategies, Applications, and Challenges

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Advanced ink systems for solution‐processed textile triboelectric nanogenerators are systematically summarized, spanning conductive, tribo‐negative, and tribo‐positive layers. By connecting ink chemistry, deposition methods, and device function, the present review reveals the key governing principles of solution development and highlights practical ...

A modified oddball paradigm "cross-modal delayed response" and the research on mismatch negativity

open access: yes, 2002
A modified oddball paradigm was developed to facilitate the focus of attention and to minimize target effects on deviant-related components of auditory and visual event-related potentials (ERPs) elicited with long interstimulus intervals.
