Effects of nutritional quality on the reproductive biology of Archegozetes longisetosus (Actinotrichida, Oribatida, Trhypochthoniidae)

open access: yesSoil Organisms, 2018
The parthenogenetic trhypochthoniid oribatid mite Archegozetes longisetosus serves as a model organism. Numerous studies have investigated different aspects of its life history and nutritional biology, yet several results remain contradictive. To clarify

Integrierte chemo‐enzymatische Synthese des mRNA‐Impfstoff‐Bausteins N1‐Methylpseudouridintriphosphat

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Parasitic and phoretic mites (Arachnida, Acari) reported from insects (Arthropoda: Insecta) in Egypt [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Insect Biodiversity and Systematics, 2018
Mites exploit various symbiotic associations with insects and other arthropods, mainly parasitism and phoresy. Faunistic information of parasitic and phoretic mites on insects in Egypt is reviewed.

Einblicke in die Kohlenmonoxid‐Reduktionsreaktion auf Cu(111) durch elektrochemische Operando Röntgen‐Photoelektronenspektroskopie

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.

Mitigating ground effect on mini quadcopters with model reference adaptive control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Mitigating ground effect becomes a big challenge for autonomous aerial vehicles when they are flying in close proximity to the ground. This paper aims to develop a precise model of ground effect on mini quadcopters, provide an advanced control algorithm ...

Hochdrucksynthese kristalliner doppelschichtiger Kohlenstoffnitrid‐Netzwerke stabilisiert in Bi7C10N18(N3(1‐x)O3x)

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
High‐pressure chemical reaction between Bi and various hydrogen‐free C‐N precursors induced by the infrared laser heating in a diamond anvil cell, leads to the formation of a compound Bi7C10N18(N3(1‐x)O3x), featuring double layers of poly‐N‐(1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐yl)‐guanidine [C4N6x‐]n and non‐polymerized guanidinate anions CN35‐.

Parasite loads and altitudinal distribution of Liolaemus lizards in the central Chilean Andes Cargas parasitarias y distribución de lagartijas Liolaemus en los Andes de Chile central

open access: yesRevista Chilena de Historia Natural, 2001
This study compared the distributions of ten species of Liolaemus lizards in the central Chilean Andes to the distributions of four types of parasites: malaria-causing Plasmodium, gut nematodes, ticks, and mites.
