Role of eIF4A1 in triple‐negative breast cancer stem‐like cell‐mediated drug resistance
Abstract In cap‐dependent translation, the eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4A (eIF4A1) is an mRNA helicase is involved in unwinding of the secondary structure, such as the stem‐loops, at the 5′‐leader regions of the key oncogenic mRNAs. This facilitates ribosomal scanning and translation of the oncogenic mRNAs.

A defining feature of centromeres is the presence of the histone H3 variant CENP-A that replaces H3 in a subset of centromeric nucleosomes. In Drosophila cultured cells CENP-A deposition at centromeres takes place during the metaphase stage of the cell ...

The salivary sheath protein myosin from SBPH is critical for the formation of the salivary sheath and feeding. However, myosin functions as a HAMP and triggered plant BAK1‐mediated PTI responses, which include the activation of calcium signaling pathways, MAPK phosphorylation, ROS bursts, and cell death, thereby triggering JA pathway.

High Sugar Induced RCC2 Lactylation Drives Breast Cancer Tumorigenicity Through Upregulating MAD2L1
This study finds that KAT2A mediates the lactylation modification of the non‐histone protein RCC2 at K124, facilitating the recruitment of free SERBP1 and aiding in the formation of the initial SERBP1‐MAD2L1 complex. SERBP1 enhances the stability of MAD2L1 mRNA and promotes cellular proliferation.

We describe an elementary convex geometric algorithm for realizing Schubert cycles in complete flag varieties by unions of faces of polytopes. For GL_n and Gelfand--Zetlin polytopes, combinatorics of this algorithm coincides with that of the mitosis on pipe dreams introduced by Knutson and Miller.

The Hypoxia‐Associated High‐Risk Cell Subpopulation Distinctly Enhances the Progression of Glioma
This study suggests the potential roles of a novel hypoxia‐associated CDC20+KIF20A+PTTG1+ cell subpopulation in glioma progression. This high‐risk glioma cell subpopulation is therapeutically vulnerable to glioma progression and may play important roles in glioma standard‐of‐care therapeutic resistance.

Abstract Black cohosh (BC; Actaea racemosa L.), a top‐selling botanical dietary supplement, is marketed to women primarily to ameliorate a variety of gynecological symptoms. Due to widespread usage, limited safety information, and sporadic reports of hepatotoxicity, the Division of the National Toxicology Program (DNTP) initially evaluated BC extract ...

New Transferrin Receptor‐Targeting Conjugate Effectively Delivers DNA to Mouse Brain
We present a novel RNA aptamer targeting the transferrin receptor (TfR), conjugated with DSPE lipid, which achieves remarkably efficient brain uptake, reaching brain‐to‐serum ratios as high as 6.5. Through fluorescence imaging and polymerase‐chain reaction analyses, we verify that this new conjugate successfully delivers a substantial amount of DNA ...
