Diagnostic significance and cytological features of NUT carcinoma by EBUS‐FNA, a case report and literature review

open access: yesCytopathology, Volume 35, Issue 4, Page 497-502, July 2024.
Cytomorphological features of NUT carcinoma include sheets or discrete nests of primitive, monotonous, round to oval shaped tumour cells with high N/C ratio and brisk mitotic figures. Abrupt squamous differentiation might be a diagnostic hint. More than 50% positivity of NUT immunohistochemistry staining is diagnostic. NUT carcinoma represents a poorly

Novel prognostic nomogram for predicting recurrence‐free survival in medullary thyroid carcinoma

open access: yesHistopathology, Volume 84, Issue 6, Page 947-959, May 2024.
Building upon the International Medullary Thyroid Carcinoma (MTC) Grading System (IMTCGS) developed in 2022, this study presents a prognostic nomogram to predict recurrence‐free survival in MTC. The model was created using data from 300 MTC patients and was externally validated in a separate cohort.

Effect of mutagens on Mitotic Index and mitotic aberrations in M1 generations of Lablab purpureus (L.) Sweet [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
In the present investigation the effect of the different Chemical and Physical mutagens like EMS, Gamma rays and combination of both EMS and Gamma rays concentration  and doses were studied for the mitotic index and mitotic abnormalities in the ...

DataSheet_1_Pan-cancer evaluation of clinical value of mitotic network activity index (MNAI) and its predictive value for immunotherapy.pdf

open access: yes, 2023
Increased mitotic activity is associated with the genesis and aggressiveness of many cancers. To assess the clinical value of mitotic activity as prognostic biomarker, we performed a pan-cancer study on the mitotic network activity index (MNAI ...

Predictive value of tumor proliferative indices in periampullary cancers: Ki-67, mitotic activity index (MI) and volume corrected mitotic index (M/V) using tissue microarrays

open access: yes, 2010
Morphometry [nuclear Ki-67 labelling, mitotic activity index (MI), and volume-corrected mitotic index (M/V)] for periampullary cancers using tissue microarrays has not been performed previously.

Investigation into how mitotic spindle checkpoint function is compromised by Sv40 large T antigen. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The viral oncoprotein Simian virus 40 large T antigen (LT) efficiently immortalises primary rodent cells and occasionally transforms them to tumourigenicity.

Changes in mitotic index during onset of dormancy in Douglas-fir seedlings

open access: yes, 1980
A method is presented for rapid determination of the mitotic index in terminal buds of Douglas-fir, Pseudotsugamenziesii (Mirb.) Franco. Fertilization at planting increased mitotic index but fertilized seedlings entered dormancy at the same time as ...
