Sex‐Specific Associations With Abnormal Myocardial Flow Reserve in Non‐Obstructive Coronary Artery Disease: Insights From a Real‐World Cadmium‐Zinc‐Telluride SPECT Study

open access: yesClinical Cardiology, Volume 49, Issue 4, April 2026.
In 393 NOCAD patients undergoing CZT‐SPECT, LDL‐C was independently associated with abnormal MFR, with a significant sex×MDRD‐eGFR interaction. Female patients showed modest LDL‐C discrimination and distinct perfusion–diastolic phenotypes, suggesting sex‐modified cardiorenal‐microvascular relationships in coronary microvascular dysfunction.
