Interaction of HS1BP3 with cortactin modulates TKS5 localisation, cell secretion and cancer malignancy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Interpreting the effects of DNA polymerase variants at the structural level

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using MAVISp and molecular dynamics simulations, we analyzed over 60 000 missense variants in POLE and POLD1 from ClinVar, COSMIC, cBioPortal, and saturation mutagenesis. Identified mechanistic indicators, including stability, binding, and long‐range, enable structural interpretation, providing ACMG‐like evidence for possible reclassification of VUS ...

Multi-core mixed-criticality real-time scheduling

open access: yes, 2019
Modern safety-critical real-time systems are realized via integration of multiple system components having varying criticality, designated based on consequence of failures, onto a single shared hardware platform.

Study on Influence of Nitric Acid Concentration on Criticality Safety

open access: yesYuanzineng kexue jishu
The nuclear criticality safety issue in spent fuel reprocessing facilities is closely related to the main process and is almost equally important. It is closely related to the design and operation of reprocessing facilities.

DNA methylation and expression of MAPRE3 affect overall survival of early‐stage non‐small cell lung cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Both cg12821679MAPRE3 methylation and MAPRE3 expression are significantly associated with overall survival (OS) of non‐small cell lung cancer. Meanwhile, MAPRE3 expression significantly modified the effect of smoking cessation on OS. Smoking cessation benefits OS merely for patients with high MAPRE3 expression.

Towards Compositional Mixed-Criticality Real-Time Scheduling in Open Systems

open access: yes, 2015
Although many cyber-physical systems are both mixed-criticality system and compositional system, there are little work on intersection of mixed-criticality system and compositional system.

Mixed-Criticality Scheduling on Multiprocessors using Task Grouping

open access: yes, 2015
Real-time systems are increasingly running a mix of tasks with different criticality levels: for instance, unmanned aerial vehicle has multiple software functions with different safety criticality levels, but runs them on a single, shared computational ...

DREAMS: Cross-Domain Mixed-Criticality Patterns

open access: yes, 2016
International audienceThe transition from conventional federated archi-tectures to integrated architectures enables the integration of functionalities with different criticality (such as safety, security and real-time) on a single embedded computing ...

A Specification Framework for Mixed-Criticality Scheduling Protocols

open access: yesACM Transactions on Embedded Computing Systems
This article presents a general formal framework for describing the relationship between a criticality-aware scheduler, a set of application jobs that are assigned different criticality levels, and an environment that generates both work and faults that the run-time system must control.

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.
