Adaptive Event-Triggered Mixed $H_{\infty}$ and Passivity-Based Filter Design for Nonlinear T-S Fuzzy Markovian Switching Systems With Time-Varying Delays

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
This paper discusses the problem of mixed H∞ and passivity-based filter design for non-linear T-S Fuzzy Markovian Switching Systems (F-MSSs) with time-varying delays, under the adaptive event-triggered scheme. At first, an adaptive event-triggered

Chromospheric Anemone Jets as Evidence of Ubiquitous Reconnection

open access: yes, 2008
The heating of the solar chromosphere and corona is a long-standing puzzle in solar physics. Hinode observations show the ubiquitous presence of chromospheric anemone jets outside sunspots in active regions.

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Large Eddy Simulation of Turbulent Channel Flows by the Rational LES Model

open access: yes, 2002
The rational large eddy simulation (RLES) model is applied to turbulent channel flows. This approximate deconvolution model is based on a rational (subdiagonal Pade') approximation of the Fourier transform of the Gaussian filter and is proposed as an ...

DESIGN AND STABILITY ANALYSIS OF MIXED-MODE FILTERS CONTAINING ONLY GROUNDED CAPACITORS

open access: yesJournal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 2010
In this paper, three dual-mode (mixed-mode) analog filters using only grounded capacitors and two to three second-generation current conveyors (CCIIs) are presented. The first proposed filter can provide a transimpedance-mode (TIM) second-order filter transfer function (TF), and is free from passive component matching constraints, which is ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Multichannel EMI Filter Performance Assessment by Mix Mode Injection

open access: yes2024 International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility – EMC Europe
Multichannel measurements allow faster evaluation of Insertion Loss (IL) for Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) filters than traditional methods. This paper presents the multichannel measurement technique which enables determining both Differential Mode (DM) and Common Mode (CM) IL.
