MXT-YOLOv7t: An Efficient Real-Time Object Detection for Autonomous Driving in Mixed Traffic Environments

open access: yesIEEE Access
The perception system is vital for the autonomous navigation of self-driving cars in complex traffic environments. A critical part of this system is object detection, which enables the vehicle to perceive and interpret its surroundings.

Rule Based First Principles Approach to Identify Safe/Unsafe Behavior of Two-Wheeler Drivers Under Mixed Traffic Conditions

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
Driver behavior refers to the actions and decisions made by drivers while operating a vehicle, including factors such as speed, distraction, and following road rules, traffic signals, etc.

Adaptaquin is selectively toxic to glioma stem cells through disruption of iron and cholesterol metabolism

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Adaptaquin selectively kills glioma stem cells while sparing differentiated brain cells. Transcriptomic and proteomic analyses show Adaptaquin disrupts iron and cholesterol homeostasis, with iron chelation amplifying cytotoxicity via cholesterol depletion, mitochondrial dysfunction, and elevated reactive oxygen species.

Worst-Case Response Time of Mixed Vehicles at Complex Intersections

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of Intelligent Transportation Systems
Operating autonomous vehicles (AVs) and human-driven vehicles (HVs) at urban intersections while observing requirements of safety and service level is complex due not only to the existence of multiple inflow and outflow lanes, conflicting crossing zones,

Macroscopic Dynamics of Multi-Lane Traffic

open access: yes, 1999
We present a macroscopic model of mixed multi-lane freeway traffic that can be easily calibrated to empirical traffic data, as is shown for Dutch highway data.

MILP formulations of cumulative constraints for railway scheduling - A comparative study [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This paper introduces two Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) models for railway traffic planning using a cumulative scheduling constraint and associated pre-processing filters. We compare standard solver performance for these models on three sets of

Patient‐specific pharmacogenomics demonstrates xCT as predictive therapeutic target in colon cancer with possible implications in tumor connectivity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study integrates transcriptomic profiling of matched tumor and healthy tissues from 32 colorectal cancer patients with functional validation in patient‐derived organoids, revealing dysregulated metabolic programs driven by overexpressed xCT (SLC7A11) and SLC3A2, identifying an oncogenic cystine/glutamate transporter signature linked to ...

CPS-Based Human-Vehicle Co-Pilot Switching Strategy Under Different Information Flow Topologies

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Automated vehicles will still remain the form of human-vehicle cooperation in the foreseeable future. Switched cooperative driving mode makes improvements on preventing drivers from being out-of-the-loop by having them assume manual control at periodic ...

Macroscopic modelling and robust control of bi-modal multi-region urban road networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The paper concerns the integration of a bi-modal Macroscopic Fundamental Diagram (MFD) modelling for mixed traffic in a robust control framework for congested single- and multi-region urban networks.

A Cell Automation Traffic Flow Model for Mixed Traffic

open access: yesProcedia - Social and Behavioral Sciences, 2013
AbstractBased on the existing research on cellular automata traffic flow model, this paper proposed an improved model for mixed traffic flow in real-time traffic data environment in China. Driver's characteristic is defined according to the NS model and the FI model.
