ABSTRACT Background Idiopathic multicentric Castleman disease (iMCD) is a potentially fatal immunologic disorder marked by widespread lymphadenopathy and inflammation. Siltuximab, an interleukin‐6 (IL‐6) inhibitor, is the only FDA‐approved treatment for adult patients with iMCD.

Large retroperitoneal malignant mixed Mullerian tumor

A 57-year-old asymptomatic lady had come for a master health check-up with a report of fibroid uterus diagnosed on ultrasound at a private hospital. Intraoperatively, a large retroperitoneal tumor was found with the uterus and adnexae being normal.

ABSTRACT Relapsed and/or refractory (R/R) pediatric acute leukemia carries a dismal prognosis, largely driven by chemoresistance to conventional salvage therapy. The BH3‐mimetic venetoclax, combined with chemotherapy or hypomethylating agents, has demonstrated efficacy in small clinical trials.
