Adaptive MMSE/pcPIC-MMSE multiuser detector for MC-CDMA satellite system
ICC 2001. IEEE International Conference on Communications. Conference Record (Cat. No.01CH37240), 2002Future broadband satellite systems, supporting user terminal mobility, will employ regenerative LEO satellites with multiple spot-beams per satellite. MC-CDMA is a promising multiple-access technique for these systems, because it exploits the advantages of both OFDM and CDMA.

An effective power allocation scheme for MMSE MIMO channel estimation with MMSE detection
21st Annual IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2010For multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless communication system with minimum mean square error (MMSE) detection, power allocation between pilot and data symbols is investigated under MMSE channel estimation in this paper. We first propose a novel soft-output MMSE MIMO detector by taking the channel estimation error into consideration.

MMSE interference in Gaussian channels
2012 Information Theory and Applications Workshop, 2012• These results provide the engineering insight to the good performance of the Han and Kobayashi scheme on the interference channel. We show that the Han and Kobayashi scheme is optimal MMSE-wise. • The results can be easily extended to K MMSE constraint [Bustin and Shamai, submitted ISIT 2012].

This chapter treats spatiotemporal minimum mean square error (MMSE) mapping techniques in considerable detail. Due to their popularity in many of scientific fields, we decided to include a separate chapter on MMSE techniques, despite the fact that in principle these techniques are special cases of the BME analysis.
