Horocycles of Light in a Ferrocell
We studied the effects of image formation in a device known as Ferrocell, which consists of a thin film of a ferrofluid solution between two glass plates subjected to an external magnetic field in the presence of a light source.

OCTONIONIC MÖBIUS TRANSFORMATIONS [PDF]
A vexing problem involving nonassociativity is resolved, allowing a generalization of the usual complex Möbius transformations to the octonions. This is accomplished by relating the octonionic Möbius transformations to the Lorentz group in ten space–time dimensions. The result will be of particular interest to physicists working with lightlike objects

LDPC codes based on Mobius transformations
Recently, a class of low‐density parity‐check (LDPC) codes from affine permutation matrices, called APM‐LDPC codes, have attracted because of some advantages rather than QC‐LDPC codes in minimum‐distance, girth, cycle distribution and error‐rate performance. In this study, a new class of LDPC

Hermite Interpolation Using Möbius Transformations of Planar Pythagorean-Hodograph Cubics
We present an algorithm for C1 Hermite interpolation using Möbius transformations of planar polynomial Pythagoreanhodograph (PH) cubics. In general, with PH cubics, we cannot solve C1 Hermite interpolation problems, since their lack of parameters makes ...

A Multi-Attribute Approach for Low-Carbon and Intensive Land Use of Jinan, China
This paper establishes an evaluation system based on the low-carbon intensive land use in Jinan city from 2010 to 2017 and uses a multi-attribute approach named grey fuzzy integral to build the evaluation model.

Fractional Calculus of Analytic Functions Concerned with Möbius Transformations
Let A be the class of functions f(z) in the open unit disk U with f(0)=0 and f′(0)=1. Also, let w(ζ) be a Möbius transformation in U for some z∈U.

Equiareal Parameterization of Triangular Bézier Surfaces
Parameterization is the key property of a parametric surface and significantly affects many kinds of applications. To improve the quality of parameterization, equiareal parameterization minimizes the equiareal energy, which is presented as a measure to ...
