Divergent Synthesis of Möbius and Hückel N‐Heterocycloarenes From a Common Macrocyclic Backbone
In the divergent synthesis of Möbius and Hückel N‐heterocycloarenes from a common macrocyclic precursor, the annulation reaction dictates topology: Scholl reaction gives Möbius topology, while InCl3‐mediated alkyne annulation gives Hückel topology. The Möbius N‐heterocycloarene is unevenly contorted as revealed by crystal structure, and the Hückel N ...

This study presents how the Mobius transform can be used for Max-Min compositions of rules of the CADIAG-2. The algorithm for Mobius transform to find new weights of rules for CADIAG-2 is proposed. This method is tested for different examples and some remarks are indicated.

We demonstrate the facile aromatic C─C bond cleavage of cyclopentadienide mediated by transient imino(metallophosphino)silylenes, enabling the transformation of an aromatic system into a homoaromatic species. The steric bulk of the phosphino substituent, together with the weak interaction between the coinage metal and the cyclopentadienide ligand, are ...

In 2021, Mork and Ulness studied the Mandelbrot and Julia sets for a generalization of the well-explored function ηλ(z)=z2+λ. Their generalization was based on the composition of ηλ with the Möbius transformation μ(z)=1z at each iteration step ...
