Effects of the Fluid Replacement Method During Online Hemodiafiltration on the Solute Removal Performance and Biocompatibility Using the Asymmetric Cellulose Triacetate Membrane

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Dynamic characteristics of offshore wind power with bucket foundation based on field tests

open access: yesYantu gongcheng xuebao
The offshore wind power structures bear complex environmental loads induced by winds and waves over the life time. Dynamic characteristic is an important basis for the safety assessment of the offshore wind power structures.

Comparison of Different Independent Component Analysis Algorithms for Output-Only Modal Analysis

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2016
From the principle of independent component analysis (ICA) and the uncertainty of amplitude, order, and number of source signals, this paper expounds the root reasons for modal energy uncertainty, identified order uncertainty, and modal missing in output-

Research on improved modal parameter identification method using Hilbert-Huang transform

open access: yesMeasurement + Control, 2023
In the wind tunnel test, the full-bridge aeroelastic model needs to simulate both the shape and dynamic characteristics of the real bridge, and modal parameters are key dynamic parameters.

Therapeutic Apheresis in Nigeria: A Multi‐Center Summary of Abstracts From the Inaugural Nigerian Society for Apheresis Scientific Meeting

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

Modal parameter identification from output data only

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2015
To identify the modal parameters of a vibrating system from output data only we use a state space model and usually two approaches are considered: the block Hankel matrix and its shifted version and the block observability matrix and its shifted version.

Improved Continuous Wavelet Transform for Modal Parameter Identification of Long-Span Bridges

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2020
Accurate and timely identification of modal parameters of long-span bridges is important for bridge health monitoring and wind tunnel tests. Wavelet analysis is one of the most advantageous methods for identification because of its good localization ...

Prognosis of Long‐Term Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy and the Impact of Combined Continuous Intravenous Sodium Infusion Therapy

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Patients requiring long‐term continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) generally have poor prognoses. This study evaluated whether adding continuous intravenous sodium infusion (cIVNa) is associated with improved hemodynamics and outcomes in patients undergoing long‐term CRRT for ≥ 7 days.

Identification of Close Modes on Frequency in Rotating Systems

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2021
In the area of modal balancing, it is essential to identify the vibration modes to be balanced in order to obtain the different modal parameters that will allow knowing the correction weight and its position in the balance planes. However, in some cases,

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
