Noise Reduction for Modal Parameter Identification of the Measured FRFs Using the Modal Peak-Based Hankel-SVD Method

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2020
The measured frequency response functions (FRFs) in the modal test are usually contaminated with noise that significantly affects the modal parameter identification.

Parameter Identification of Pressure Sensors by Static and Dynamic Measurements [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Fast identification methods of pressure sensors are investigated. With regard to a complete accurate sensor parameter identification two different measurement methods are combined.

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Parameter Equivalent Method of Stator Anisotropic Material Based on Modal Analysis

open access: yesEnergies, 2019
Accurate calculation of the vibration mode and natural frequency of a motor stator is the basis for reducing motor noise and vibration. However, the stator core and winding material parameters are difficult to determine, posing issues which result in ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Damage monitoring in sandwich beams by modal parameter shifts: a comparative study of burst random and sine dwell vibration testing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
This paper presents an experimental study on the effects of multi-site damage on the vibration response of honeycomb sandwich beams, damaged by two different ways i.e., impact damage and core-only damage simulating damage due to bird or stone impact or ...

Parameter Structures for Parametrized Modal Operators. [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
The parameters of the parametrized modal operators [p] and \Diamondp usually represent agents (in the epistemic interpretation) or actions (in the dynamic logic interpretation) or the like. In this paper the application of the idea of parametrized modal operators is extended in two ways: First of all a modified neighbourhood semantics is defined which ...

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Update of parameter matrices of the dynamic system using the least-squares approach

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2019
Model-based responses rarely coincide with the actual responses owing to modeling and measurement errors, deterioration of structural performance, and presence of damages in the structure.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.
