On the automatic identification of modal parameters by subspace methods

The paper presents an alternative approach for the automatic selection of modal parameter estimates obtained by subspace methods. The proposed methodology represents an improved version of existing approaches and it is based on a noise modes elimination procedure and on a clustering analysis.
