Modeling a Dual-Mode Controller Design for a Quasi-Resonant Flyback Converter
The proposed system can overcome the disadvantage of a high peak current in quasi-resonant fly-back (QRF) converters when operated under heavy load conditions.

Effective plasmonic mode-size converter
Plasmonic mode-size converters (PMSCs) for long-range surface plasmon polaritons (LR-SPPs) at the wavelength of 1.55 μm are presented. The PMSC is composed of an insulator-metal-insulator waveguide (IMI-W), a laterally tapered insulator-metal-insulator-metal-insulator waveguide (LT-IMIMI-W), and an IMIMI-W in series.

A Method for Accurately Characterizing Single Overmoded Circular TM01-TE11 Mode Converter
In the case of characterizing waveguide mode converter, the widely applied back-to-back method can only extract two mode converters' joint S-parameters, the accuracy of the far-field radiation pattern method is limited.

Common Mode Reduction by the Method of Interleaved Converters
The isolated DC/DC converter is becoming increasingly important in high-speed switching devices. The electrical isolation provides certain safety aspects. There is a need for the reduction of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) produced by these converters.

ABSTRACT Introduction Pre‐dilution online hemodiafiltration (Pre‐HDF) is predominantly used in Japan, whereas post‐dilution online HDF (Post‐HDF) is more common in Europe. An asymmetric cellulose triacetate (ATA) membrane may improve biocompatibility.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

A new transformerless buck‐boost converter with improved voltage gain and continuous input current
This paper proposes a new transformerless buck‐boost converter with an extended voltage conversion ratio. This converter has semi‐quadratic voltage gain, which provides more gain with lower duty cycles.
