Model based steganalysis

2004 International Conference on Image Processing, 2004. ICIP '04., 2005
In this paper, we consider a new method for performing steganalysis using a statistical model of the cover medium. Using model based methodology, examples of detecting secret message and estimating the secret message length of bit-streams embedded using JSteg-like steganography and quantization index modulation are proposed. This steganalysis technique

Model Based Tracking

2007
This paper presents an iterative method for tracking and classifying human activities in a video sequence. The basic idea is that activities can be positively identified from a sparsely sampled sequence of a few body poses acquired from videos. Connected Graph representation has been used to store the 2D human poses.

Model-based reasoning

Computers & Education, 2013
In this paper, there will be a particular focus on mental models and their application to inductive reasoning within the realm of instruction. A basic assumption of this study is the observation that the construction of mental models and related reasoning is a slowly developing capability of cognitive systems that emerges effectively with proper ...

The model-based mind

SMC 2000 Conference Proceedings. 2000 IEEE International Conference on Systems, Man and Cybernetics. 'Cybernetics Evolving to Systems, Humans, Organizations, and their Complex Interactions' (Cat. No.00CH37166), 2002
The "mind" can be defined as a range of functions created from sensory experience that are paired with our representation systems reflected through our behavior. These representation systems (visual, auditory and kinesthetic modalities) are foundations for how effective choices and belief systems are generated through sensory-derived processes; how ...

Model-Based Testing

2014
Software more and more pervades our everyday lives. Hence, we have high requirements towards the trustworthiness of the software. Software testing greatly contributes to the quality assurance of modern software systems. However, as today's software system get more and more complex and exist in many different variants, we need rigorous and systematic ...

Model-Based Reconfiguration

1998
Knowledge-based configuration is both a successful application domain for AI techniques and and an active research area. An open issue in many practical domains is that of reconfiguration, typically exhibited by legacy systems that are to be extended, upgraded or simply altered. Standard configuration techniques are not necessarily suited to this task.

Model-Based Clustering

2009
Finite mixture models are being commonly used in a wide range of applications in practice concerning density estimation and clustering. An attractive feature of this approach to clustering is that it provides a sound statistical framework in which to assess the important question of how many clusters are there in the data and their validity.

Model-based imaging

Ultrasound in Medicine & Biology, 2006
The concept of model-based imaging provides a possibility of integration of both structural and functional information obtained by imaging and nonimaging sources of diagnostically relevant information. Merging information of different origin and nature in a simulated computer patient-specific three-dimensional (3-D) model is important for multimodal ...

Model-Based Traces

2009
We introduce model-based traces , which trace behavioral models of a system's design during its execution, allowing to combine model-driven engineering with dynamic analysis. Specifically, we take visual inter-object scenario-based and intra-object state-based models (sequence charts and statecharts) used for a system's design, and follow their ...
