A Compact Parallel Pruning Scheme for Deep Learning Model and Its Mobile Instrument Deployment
In the single pruning algorithm, channel pruning or filter pruning is used to compress the deep convolution neural network, and there are still many redundant parameters in the compressed model.

On the Compression of Natural Language Models
Deep neural networks are effective feature extractors but they are prohibitively large for deployment scenarios. Due to the huge number of parameters, interpretability of parameters in different layers is not straight-forward. This is why neural networks are sometimes considered black boxes.

ABSTRACT Background Central nervous system (CNS) involvement in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is assessed by cell counting and cytomorphology from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) and is used for treatment stratification worldwide. The ratio of “CNS2” patients in clinical trials ranges from 3% to 40%, with unclear prognostic significance ...

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

On the Behavior of RObust Header Compression U-mode in Channels with Memory
The existing studies of RObust Header Compression (ROHC) have provided some understanding for memoryless channel, but the behavior of ROHC for correlated wireless channels is not well investigated in spite of its practical importance.
