Adopting MDE for Specifying and Executing Civilian Missions of Mobile Multi-Robot Systems
Robots are meant to replace humans for a broad variety of everyday tasks, such as environmental monitoring or patrolling large public areas for security assurance.

A Sketch of a Model-Driven Approach to Develop Smart Tourism Mobile Applications
Several approaches have been proposed to accelerate software development. Model-driven engineering (MDE) is one approach that aims to abstract and automate the development process using models and transformations as the main artifacts.

Incorporating Security Behaviour into Business Models Using a Model Driven Approach [PDF]
There has, in recent years, been growing interest in Model Driven Engineering (MDE), in which models are the primary design artifacts and transformations are applied to these models to generate refinements leading to usable implementations over specific ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Quality-Driven Detection and Resolution of Metamodel Smells
In model-driven engineering, analogously to any software development practice, metamodel design must be accurate and performed by considering relevant quality factors, including maintainability, reusability, and understandability.

Challenging Models: Formalizing Quests in Gamified Systems for Behavioral Change
Tasks performed by users in exchange for some reward, also known as quests or challenges, are one of the essential elements found in gamified systems, including systems for behavioral change.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
