Indirect Model Reference Adaptive PIP Control
IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1997Abstract The paper presents an extension of the proportional-integral-plus (PIP) control using model reference techniques and indirect adaptation. Recursive least squares method is used to estimate the process parameters. The constant trace method is treating the covariance matrix.

Indirect Binary Model Reference Adaptive Control
2011 9th IEEE International Conference on Control and Automation (ICCA), 2011This paper proposes an Indirect Binary Model Reference Adaptive Controller (IB-MRAC), with the main objective of combining the steady-state features of controllers based in integral parameter adaptation with the fast and non oscillatory transient of variable structure based strategies.

Model Reference Adaptive Control of Load Transporting System on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
International Conference on Control, Engineering & Information Technology, 2018The effective control of gimbal, Vertical Take-Off and Landing (VTOL) and Load Transporting System (LTS) in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), which are widely used in mapping, search-and-rescue, exploration and surveillance, border security, real-time ...

Model reference adaptive control using the delta operator
IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1988Summary: Recently, \textit{G. C. Goodwin}. \textit{R. Lozano Leal}, \textit{D. Q. Mayne} and \textit{R. H. Middleton} [Automatica 22, 199-207 (1986; Zbl 0614.93039)] showed that a cancellation of nonminimum phase zeros appearing in the discrete-time MRAC at a fast sampling rate can be easily avoided if the model to be identified is expressed in terms ...

Model reference adaptive control using a low‐order controller
International Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, 2001AbstractIn the model reference adaptive control problem, the goal is to force the error between the plant output and the reference model output asymptotically to zero. The classical assumptions on a single‐input–single‐output (SISO) plant is that it is minimum phase, and that the plant relative degree, the sign of the high‐frequency gain, and an upper ...

Discrete model reference adaptive control systems
International Journal of Control, 1978Abstract A synthesis technique is presented for stable discrete model reference adaptive control systems. In the adaptive system the process parameters are adjusted indirectly according to a discrete gradient law. The stability of the adaptive scheme is demonstrated by Liapunov's second method.
