Construction of Type-II Backlund Transformation for the mKdV Hierarchy

open access: yes, 2015
From an algebraic construction of the mKdV hierarchy we observe that the space component of the Lax operator play a role of an universal algebraic object.

Model-Driven Development of Model Transformations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
This thesis presents how evolving software models expressed in different formalisms can be kept consistent by means of an object-oriented integration of metamodeling, design by contract and graph transformation. It incrementally builds upon existing modeling languages to illustrate that the adoption of the new model-driven engineering paradigm does not

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Green-Schwarz superstring from type IIB matrix model

open access: yes, 2009
We construct Green-Schwarz (GS) light-cone closed superstring theory from type IIB matrix model. A GS light-cone string action is derived from two dimensional N=8 U(n) noncommutative Yang-Mills (NCYM) by identifying noncommutative scale with string scale.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Model Transformations Used in IT Project Initial Phases: Systematic Literature Review

open access: yesComputers
The paper emphasizes the critical importance of the initial phase in IT project development to avoid implementation errors. It argues that minimizing these errors can be achieved by developing project artifacts at the early stage using a model-driven ...

On the Symmetry of Universal Finite-Size Scaling Functions in Anisotropic Systems

open access: yes, 2002
In this work a symmetry of universal finite-size scaling functions under a certain anisotropic scale transformation is postulated. This transformation connects the properties of a finite two-dimensional system at criticality with generalized aspect ratio
