Modulare serielle Roboter

e & i Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik, 2013

Towards robot modularity — A review of international modularity standardization for service robots

Robotics and Autonomous Systems, 2022
Abstract The paper presents ISO standardization work carried out to formulate guidelines for service robot modularity for assisting the development of open plug-n-play modules that can be easily assembled to create application specific robots and robot systems.

On Sub-modularization and Morphological Heterogeneity in Modular Robotics

2013
Modular robots are a kind of robots built from mechatronic modules, which can be assembled in many different ways allowing the modular robot to assume a wide range of morphologies and functions. An important question in modular robotics is to which degree modules should be heterogeneous.

Development of modular legged robots: study with three-legged robot modularity

2004 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) (IEEE Cat. No.04CH37566), 2005
As an experimental platform for modular legged robots, generic limb modules are developed which are used to implement 3-limb robot units. Benefits of 3-limb modularity are discussed in the context of multi-legged robot assembly. A CPG network based locomotion gait generation approach for generic multi-leg formations is considered.

Flexible kinematics for modular robots

Microprocessors and Microsystems, 1995
Abstract Industry uses an enormous variety of robots with different capabilities to perform different tasks. A possible alternative might be to use modular robots. These could be assembled with a combination of joints, links, tools and sensors as required to perform a particular task.

Design of a modular snake robot

2007 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems, 2007
Many factors such as size, power, and weight constrain the design of modular snake robots. Meeting these constraints requires implementing a complex mechanical and electrical architecture. Here we present our solution, which involves the construction of sixteen aluminum modules and creation of the Super Servo, a modified hobby servo.
