Two modular architectural solution of MICADO
This research paper investigates the potential of the MICADO method in modular structures through parametric development. The MICADO approach combines frame-supported modulus systems with prefabricated panels for exterior walls, allowing for simultaneous

MODULAR STRUCTURES AND LANDAU LEVELS [PDF]
We review some recent results concerning Landau levels and Tomita-Takesaki modular theory. We also extend the general framework behind this to quasi *-algebras, to take into account the possible appearance of unbounded observables.

Modularity and community structure in networks [PDF]
Many networks of interest in the sciences, including social networks, computer networks, and metabolic and regulatory networks, are found to divide naturally into communities or modules. The problem of detecting and characterizing this community structure is one of the outstanding issues in the study of networked systems.

Modular Structural Operational Semantics
Modular SOS (MSOS) is a variant of conventional Structural Operational Semantics (SOS). Using MSOS, the transition rules for each construct of a programming language can be given incrementally, once and for all, and do not need reformulation when further constructs are added to the language. MSOS thus provides an exceptionally high degree of modularity

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

The thermal performance of the building envelope is significant in energy-efficient construction. Because concrete is widely used in civil engineering, options to reduce its R-value should be considered.

The Principle of Maximal Simplicity for Modular Inorganic Crystal Structures
Modularity is an important construction principle of many inorganic crystal structures that has been used for the analysis of structural relations, classification, structure description and structure prediction.

Modular Structures and Atomic Decomposition in Ontologies
With the growth of ontologies used in diverse application areas, the need for module extraction and modularisation techniques has risen. The notion of the modular structure of an ontology, which comprises a suitable set of base modules together with their logical dependencies, has the potential to help users and developers in comprehending, sharing ...

The ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy as guardians of the cellular proteome
This Perspective covers the three principles governing the crosstalk between the ubiquitin‐proteasome system and autophagy in cellular proteostasis: (1) a shared ubiquitin code routing substrates via shuttle factors or autophagy receptors; (2) spatial compartmentalization into phase‐separated degradation hubs and organelle‐specific modules (exemplified
