It is actual for Lithuanian ethnomusicologists to know all the main scientific definitions, used in Western ethnomusicology. Anyway, we have to understand the main ideas of our Lithuanian definitions in the historical works of Lithuanian ethnomusicology. The ‘improvisation’, ‘stability’ and ‘mobility' definitions are in the field of the main ones.
