Whole-genome sequence data and analysis of a Staphylococcus aureus strain SJTUF_J27 isolated from seaweed

open access: yesData in Brief, 2018
The complete genome sequence data of S. aureus SJTUF_J27 isolated from seaweed in China is reported here. The size of the genome is 2.8 Mbp with 32.9% G + C content, consisting of 2614 coding sequences and 77 RNAs.

Molecular Characterization of AmpC β-lactamases in Enterobacteriaceae

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Microbiology, 2022
AmpC β-lactamases are enzymes that are resistant to β-lactams, such as penicillin and cephalosporin, but not cefoxitin and cefotetan. This study was conducted to characterize AmpC β-lactamases in Enterobacteriaceae.

European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Cup‐Like Nuclei Is a Hallmark of DUX4/ERG Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Reveals Cytoplasmic Mitochondria Accumulation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cup‐like nuclei are a distinctive morphological feature observed in certain cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). We provide evidence that they characterize DUX4/ERG ALL independently of IKZF1 deletion and reveal marked mitochondrial accumulation in this ALL subset.

Mechanism of Salinity Tolerance in Plants: Physiological, Biochemical, and Molecular Characterization

open access: yesInternational Journal of Genomics, 2014
Salinity is a major abiotic stress limiting growth and productivity of plants in many areas of the world due to increasing use of poor quality of water for irrigation and soil salinization.

Genomic Diversity and Clinical Variability in Pediatric Primary Cutaneous Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma: A Case Series

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma (pcALCL) is a rare pediatric CD30‐positive T‐cell lymphoproliferative disorder with an excellent prognosis, but its genomic drivers are poorly defined. We report three children with skin‐limited disease demonstrating striking molecular heterogeneity, including NPM::ALK, NUP214::FRK, and a novel ...

Effects of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal inoculations on the growth and polyphenol levels of garden leek (Allium porrum)

open access: yesJournal of Plant Protection Research, 2018
Arbuscular mycorrizal (AM) fungi may enhance plant growth and polyphenol production, however, there have been limited studies on the relationships between root colonization of different fungal species and polyphenol production on cultivated Allium ...

Identification of the interacting partners of a lysosomal membrane protein in living cells by BioID technique

open access: yesSTAR Protocols, 2022
Summary: The purpose of this protocol is to screen and identify the physiologically relevant interactors of a lysosomal protein in living cells. Here, we describe how to identify solute carrier family 15 member 4 (SLC15A4)-interacting proteins by BioID ...
