Effect of near-field optical angular momentum on molecular junctions
The role of molecular junctions in nanoelectronics is most often associated with electronic transport; however, their precise characterisation hinders their widespread development.

Inverse magnetoresistance of molecular junctions [PDF]
We present calculations of spin-dependent electron transport through single organic molecules bridging pairs of iron nanocontacts. We predict the magnetoresistance of these systems to switch from positive to negative with increasing applied bias for both conducting and insulating molecules.

Transport through molecular junctions [PDF]
Exploiting the rich design space of organic molecules for applications in future electronic devices is one of the main challenges in nanotechnology. Several groups have recently demonstrated, for a limited set of molecules, clear single-molecule characteristics and fair agreement with computations.

Microscopic theory, analysis, and interpretation of conductance histograms in molecular junctions
Molecular electronics break-junction experiments are widely used to investigate fundamental physics and chemistry at the nanoscale. Reproducibility in these experiments relies on measuring conductance on thousands of freshly formed molecular junctions ...

Metal complexes in molecular junctions [PDF]
The use of metal complexes to achieve a conductive molecular junction with a special focus on organometallics is overviewed and illustrated with representative examples. The prospects offered by such compounds owing to their specific properties are discussed.
