Molecular Identification, Transcriptome Sequencing and Functional Annotation of Pulex irritans

Acta Parasitologica, 2021
Pulex irritans are vectors of various zoonotic pathogens. However, molecular studies on P. irritans and flea-borne diseases are limited due to the lack of molecular data. This study aimed to conduct transcriptome sequencing, functional annotation, and pathogen analysis of P.

Functional annotation of expressed sequence tags as a tool to understand the molecular mechanism controlling flower bud development in tree peony

Physiologia Plantarum, 2009
Tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosaAndrews) is an important medicinal and ornamental plant. In China, its root bark is an important ingredient for traditional Chinese medicine. It is valued as an ornamental plant because its flower shows a wide variation in shape and color.

De novo assembly, gene annotation, and molecular marker development using Illumina paired-end transcriptome sequencing in the clam Saxidomus purpuratus

Genes & Genomics, 2017
The clam Saxidomus purpuratus is an important economic marine bivalve species in China. In this study, we performed a de novo transcriptome sequencing of S. purpuratus gill tissues to generate a transcriptome dataset by performing Illumina paired-end sequencing on the HiSeq 2500 platform. A total of 10,488,024 raw reads were produced.
