Synthesis of zeolite molecular sieve from coal gangue and its performance on CO2 capture

open access: yesMeitan xuebao
Coal gangue, a by-product of coal mining, is accumulating rapidly and As a by-product of coal mining, the amount of coal gangue is increasing in stock, which poses a serious threat to the environment.

Phenotypic and genotypic characterization of single circulating tumor cells in the follow‐up of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.

EQUILIBRIUM ADSORPTION OF METHANE ANDCARBON DIOXIDE ON 5A MOLECULAR SIEVE

open access: yesJournal of Engineering, 2007
Experimental and theoretical studies have been carried out to study the adsorption of methane and carbon dioxide on 5A molecular sieve. Adsorption equilibrium isotherms of methane and carbon dioxide are reported for the temperature range 303– 333 K and ...

Synthesis of titanium-containing ZSM-48 [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
Titanium-containing ZSM-48 is synthesized with silicon to titanium ratios of 26 or larger; changes in unit cell volume and IR data show that titanium is incorporated into framework ...

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Patterns of granular convection and separation in narrow vibration bed

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2017
Granular convection/separation of single and binary component particles are studied in a narrow vibration bed, respectively. With filling the single light particles (molecular sieve beads), the bed exhibits five different states successively by ...

Synthesis and Characterization of the TAPO-5 Molecular Sieve

open access: yesMaterials Research, 2002
Aluminophosphate sieves with AFI structure substituted by Ti (denominated TAPO-5) have been synthesized hydrothermally. These materials were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), chemical analysis (ICP), scanning electronic microscopy (SEM ...

A 99 percent purity molecular sieve oxygen generator [PDF]

open access: yes
Molecular sieve oxygen generating systems (MSOGS) have become the accepted method for the production of breathable oxygen on military aircraft. These systems separate oxygen for aircraft engine bleed air by application of pressure swing adsorption (PSA ...

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...
