Molecular genetics of adult‐type hypolactasia
Annals of Medicine, 2005 Adult-type hypolactasia (lactase non-persistence; primary lactose malabsorption) is characterized by the down-regulation of the lactase enzyme activity in the intestinal wall after weaning.
