Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

Rheological Method for Determining Molecular Weight and Molecular Weight Distribution

open access: yes, 2012
Gel permeation chromatography (GPC) method is a widely used and accepted method for measuring the MW and MWD for polymers. However, the method has its limitations. The key of this method is to find the suitable solvents to dissolve the polymer well. But cellulose can not be dissolved in most of the organic solvents because of the interand introhydrogen

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

EFFECT OF MOLECULAR WEIGHT AND MOLECULAR WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION ON THE PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVE PROPERTIES OF POLYISOBUTYLENE

open access: yes, 1983
The effect of molecular weight on pressure sensitive adhesive properties was studied in a model system of commercial polyisobutylenes having a range of number average molecular weight 25,000 to 750,000.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Preoperative circulating tumor cells integrated with imaging analysis for prognostic evaluation in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in blood before surgery may help predict outcomes in patients with head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). Here, we show when combined with tumor size and lymph node involvement from routine imaging, CTC status identifies high‐risk patients with poorer survival—offering a simple, minimally invasive tool ...
