In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...

Crystal structures of two dioxomolybdenum complexes stabilized by salan ligands featuring phenyl and cyclohexyl backbones

open access: yesActa Crystallographica Section E: Crystallographic Communications, 2022
Two cis-dioxomolybdenum complexes based on salan ligands with different backbones are reported. The first complex, dioxido{2,2′-[l,2-phenylenebis(iminomethylene)]bis(phenolato)}molybdenum(VI) dimethylformamide disolvate, [Mo(C20H18N2O2)O2]·2C3H7NO ...

Porous molybdenum carbide nano-octahedrons synthesized via confined carburization in metal-organic frameworks for efficient hydrogen production

open access: yesNature Communications, 2015
Electrochemical water splitting has been considered as a promising approach to produce clean and sustainable hydrogen fuel. However, the lack of high-performance and low-cost electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction hinders the large-scale ...

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Hydration Reaction of Cementitious Materials Prepared with Molybdenum Tailings

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2018
Cementitious materials is prepared with blended powders including molybdenum tailings, slag, clinker and gypsum. The effect of molybdenum tailings proportion on strengths and hydration products of molybdenum- tailing-based neat paste are studied.

Effect of doping of molybdenum on the optical properties of glasses of the As—S system

open access: yesPhysics of Complex Systems, 2021
This article discusses the spectral dependences of the absorption coefficient of thin arsenic sulphide films obtained by spin-coating, identified using a single-beam spectrophotometer in the wavelength range of 400–1000 nm.

Pure and stable metallic phase molybdenum disulfide nanosheets for hydrogen evolution reaction

open access: yesNature Communications, 2016
Metallic-phase MoS2 (M-MoS2) is metastable and does not exist in nature. Pure and stable M-MoS2 has not been previously prepared by chemical synthesis, to the best of our knowledge.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Research Progress on Comprehensive Utilization of Molybdenum Tailings

open access: yesKuangchan zonghe liyong
A large number of tailings are produced in the process of molybdenum ore separation, and the tailings accumulate and occupy a lot of land, which has hidden dangers and has an adverse impact on the ecological environment.
