Reduction of Molybdenum Trioxide by Using Hydrogen
Materials Science Forum, 2017Metallic molybdenum was synthesized through reduction of molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) by using hydrogen as a reducing agent. The reduction behavior of MoO3 were investigated by using temperature programmed reduction (TPR). The reduced phases were characterized by X-ray diffraction spectroscopy (XRD).

Combustion of Environmentally Altered Molybdenum Trioxide Nanocomposites
Propellants, Explosives, Pyrotechnics, 2006AbstractNanocomposite thermite mixtures are currently under development for many primer applications due to their high energy densities, high ignition sensitivity, and low release of toxins into the environment. However, variability and inconsistencies in combustion performance have not been sufficiently investigated.

Porous molybdenum trioxide as a bifunctional electrocatalyst for oxygen and hydrogen evolution
Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 2019Hierarchically porous molybdenum trioxide (MoO3) electrocatalyst is controllably synthesized by the facile hydrothermal method with the assistance of soft template (polyethylene oxide-polypropylene oxide-polyethylene oxide, P123).

Micro and nanostructures of molybdenum trioxide (VI)
physica status solidi (c), 2004The hydrothermal treatment of molybdenum oxide in alkaline medium leads to micro and nano-fibers products among which bundles to nanofibers with dimensions in the range to 4–5 μm length and 200–700 nm wide are found. The microcrystalline product corresponds to a laminar phase with interlaminar spaces smaller than both its intermediate precursor and the
