Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Over the past years, many academics in mathematical statistics have introduced new continuous distributions to respond to real-world data growth, and this adaptability or flexibility has become essential to this development.

Exp-Kumaraswamy Distributions: Some Properties and Applications [PDF]
In this paper, we propose and study exp-kumaraswamy distribution. Some of its properties are derived, including the density function, hazard rate function, quantile function, moments, skewness and kurtosis.

On powers of Stieltjes moment sequences, II
We consider the set of Stieltjes moment sequences, for which every positive power is again a Stieltjes moment sequence, we and prove an integral representation of the logarithm of the moment sequence in analogy to the L\'evy-Khinchin representation.

Moment generating function of a first hitting place for the integrated Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process
We consider the two-dimensional process (x(t),y(t)), where y(t)=dx(t)/dt is an Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process, Let T be the smallest t for which y(t) = [upsilon].

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

On Properties of the Hyperbolic Distribution
This paper is set to analytically describe properties of the hyperbolic distribution. This law, along with the variance-gamma distribution, is one of the most popular normal mean–variance mixtures from the point of view of various applications.

Generalized moments of additive functions
AbstractElliott's generalization of the Turán-Kubilius inequality is further generalized by establishing an upper bound for the sum Σn≤xF(∣f(n) − A∣), where f is a complex-valued additive arithmetical function, A an arbitrary number and F an arbitrary nonnegative-valued increasing function.

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.
