Color Sensor Accuracy Index Utilizing Metamer Mismatch Radii

open access: yesSensors, 2020
A novel method is described for evaluating the colorimetric accuracy of digital color cameras based on a new measure of the metamer mismatch body (MMB) that is induced by the change from the camera as an ‘observer’ to the human standard observer.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Measurements of the moments of inertia of the Morane-Saulnier M.S.760 'PARIS' aircraft

open access: yes, 2020
This note describes the measurement of the moments of inertia, of a Morane-Saulnier M.S.760 'PARIS' aircraft. The moments of inertia in pitch, roll, and yaw were measured by the spring-constrained oscillation method.

Area moments of inertia as a measure of the mandible stiffness of the implant patient

open access: yes, 2004
It was hypothesized that the bending stiffness of the mandible is an important biomechanical parameter in implant dentistry. It was shown how this bending stiffness can be estimated by means of the principal area moments of inertia of the cortical and ...

Study on the dynamic characteristics of planetary gear transmission mechanism of metal cold rolling mill

open access: yesMechanics & Industry
Using the parametric modelling feature in Solidworks software, a three-dimensional solid model of a planetary gearbox with linear reciprocating motion of the output shaft was constructed.

Energy dependence of the potential for interaction of 16O ions with 12C nuclei [PDF]

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2009
The moment of inertia for collective rotation is derived analytically for the harmonic-oscillator Hamiltonian within the cranking model for any rotation frequency and at finite temperature.

Methodology for assessing the dynamic properties of transmissions forestry machines with a bar working body [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences
The studies talk about the features of moldboard and milling tillage. An analysis of current trends in the field of soil cultivation allows us to conclude that currently special attention is paid to reducing the energy intensity of the processing process.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Epigenetic heterogeneity and plasticity in therapy‐induced tumor states through single‐cell multi‐omics

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.
