An Engineered Nano‐Vesicle Adjuvant Platform (ENAP) for Cytokine Delivery Enables a Novel Antigen‐Coordinated Vaccine Against Helicobacter pylori

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 15, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Despite the considerable potential of Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) vaccines, their clinical efficacy has been hampered by inadequate mucosal immunity and suboptimal Th1/Th17 polarization. To address this, we engineered a novel nano‐adjuvant system using LPS‐modified recombinant outer membrane vesicles (rOMVs) derived from H.

Identification and Semiquantitation of Monensin Sodium in Animal Feeds by Thin Layer Bioautography

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 1983
Abstract A bioautographic technique for the determination of monensin sodium contamination in animal feeds is described. The feeds are extracted in aqueous methanol and the initial monensin extracts are isolated by filtration through an alumina column.

Chemoradiotherapy‐Integrated Tumor Cell‐Derived Microparticles Mediate Tumor Eradication in Malignant Pleural Effusion

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, Volume 15, Issue 4, April 2026.
Highlights: •CR‐MPs functionally simulate concurrent chemoradiotherapy. •CR‐MPs trigger immunogenic ferroptosis and activate innate immunity. •Synergy with immunotherapy drives complete tumor eradication. ABSTRACT Malignant pleural effusion (MPE) portends poor prognosis in advanced cancer.

Prevention of acute ruminal lactic acidosis in sheep by probiotic or monensin supplementation: clinical aspects

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Agrárias, 2018
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of two additives (probiotic and monensin) over clinical parameters of sheep submitted to acute ruminal lactic acidosis (ARLA). Eighteen sheeps were divided into three groups of six animals each as follows:

Modulation of the intestinal microbiota of broilers supplemented with monensin or functional oils in response to challenge by Eimeria spp.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2020
The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of supplementation with 100ppm sodium monensin or 0.15% of a blend of functional oils (cashew nut oil + castor oil) on the intestinal microbiota of broilers challenged with three different Eimeria ...

Comparative assessment of probiotics and monensin in the prophylaxis of acute ruminal lactic acidosis in sheep

open access: yesBMC Veterinary Research, 2018
Background Acute ruminal lactic acidosis (ARLA) is a major nutritional and metabolic disorder usually characterized by excessive or non-adapted intake of diets rich in nonstructural carbohydrates. Feed additives that regulate the ruminal environment have

SODIUM MONENSIN AS A FORAGE ADDICTIVE

open access: yes, 2007
