N′-Benzoyl-N,N-diethylthiourea: a monoclinic polymorph
In the crystal of the title compound, C12H16N2OS, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H...S hydrogen bonds occur, generating R22(8) loops. The molecules are also linked by weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds.

Opportunities of Semiconducting Oxide Nanostructures as Advanced Luminescent Materials in Photonics
The review discusses the challenges of wide and ultrawide bandgap semiconducting oxides as a suitable material platform for photonics. They offer great versatility in terms of tuning microstructure, native defects, doping, anisotropy, and micro‐ and nano‐structuring. The review focuses on their light emission, light‐confinement in optical cavities, and

Monoclinic modification of di-n-butyldichlorido(1,10-phenanthroline-κ2N,N′)tin(IV)
The Sn(IV) atom in the title compound, [Sn(C4H9)2Cl2(C12H8N2)], is chelated by the N-heterocycle; the n-butyl groups are trans to each other whereas the Cl atoms are cis to each other.

We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.

Signatures of Edge States in Antiferromagnetic Van der Waals Josephson Junctions
ABSTRACT The combination of superconductivity and magnetic textures leads to unconventional superconducting phenomena, including new correlated and topological phases. Van der Waals (vdW) materials emerge as a versatile platform for exploring the interplay between these two competing orders.

Measuring the Hall Effect in Hysteretic Materials
The authors highlight common pitfalls in measuring the Hall effect: in hysteretic magnets, improper data processing can create signals that look exotic but are not real. This Perspective explains the origin of these artifacts and presents practical measurement strategies that help researchers identify reliable Hall responses in complex magnetic ...
