Logical metatheorems for accretive and (generalized) monotone set-valued operators
Accretive and monotone operator theory are central branches of nonlinear functional analysis and constitute the abstract study of certain set-valued mappings between function spaces. This paper deals with the computational properties of these accretive and (generalized) monotone set-valued operators.

Cathodic Cage Plasma Deposition of Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se Coatings on Poly(methyl Methacrylate)
Nanostructured Cu–Fe–Se coatings are deposited on PMMA by a modified cathodic cage plasma process, enabling low‐temperature deposition on polymer substrates. A transition from discontinuous to compact morphology is observed with temperature, with optimal properties at 200°C, where improved CuFeSe2‐type bonding, lowest sheet resistance, and favorable ...

GENERAL NONLINEAR VARIATIONAL INCLUSIONS WITH H-MONOTONE OPERATOR IN HILBERT SPACES [PDF]
The purpose of this paper is to introduce and study a new class of general nonlinear variational inclusions involving \(H\)-monotone operators in Hilbert spaces. By using the associated resolvent operator, existence and uniqueness theorems of solutions for general nonlinear variational inclusion are proved and the convergence of the iterative sequence ...

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Geometric properties and continuity of the pre-duality mapping in Banach space [PDF]
We use the preduality mapping in proving characterizations of some geometric properties of Banach spaces. In particular, those include nearly strongly convexity, nearly uniform convexity-a property introduced by K. Goebel and T.

Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.

A Dislocation Perspective on Strength and Toughness in Ceramics
Dislocations in ceramics enjoy a long but yet under‐appreciated history. The three research waves for dislocations in ceramics highlight the topic evolution over the last 90 years. This review focuses on the impact of dislocation on strength and toughness in ceramics.

General Resolvents for Monotone Operators: Characterization and Extension
Monotone operators, especially in the form of subdifferential operators, are of basic importance in optimization. It is well known since Minty, Rockafellar, and Bertsekas-Eckstein that in Hilbert space, monotone operators can be understood and analyzed from the alternative viewpoint of firmly nonexpansive mappings, which were found to be precisely the ...
