Bowel cleansing efficacy of 1 L NER1006 versus macrogol and 3 L polyethylene glycol using split‐dose administration

open access: yesJGH Open, Volume 6, Issue 12, Page 824-832, December 2022., 2022
In Australia, high‐volume polyethylene glycol based bowel preparations is our gold standard to achieve acceptable levels of colon cleansing for a colonoscopy. Yet, the rebooking rates and subsequent costs to the health service warranted further investigation to determine whether other bowel preparation options were more effective, while maintaining a ...

Enhancement of the magnetic moment of the electron due to a topological defect [PDF]

open access: yesMod.Phys.Lett. A10 (1995) 2335-2338, 1995
In the framework of the theory of defects/three-dimensional gravitation, it is obtained a positive correction to the magnetic moment of the electron bound to a disclination in a dielectric solid.

Mora Romagnola Pig

open access: yes, 2019
Mora Romagnola breed, one of the Italian local pig breeds, owes its name to its colour, dark brown tending to black. Currently 31 farms are registered in the herdbook started in 2001 with about 270 breeding females and 67 boars. During the 1990s, only 18 animals were left, all concentrated in one single farm. The breed was investigated within the H2020

Coverage Contact Control of Benzoxazole‐Based SAMs to Enhance the Operational Performance of Perovskite Nanocrystal Light–Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) as hole‐selective injecting contacts in CsPbBr₃ nanocrystal‐based PeLEDs demonstrate improved performance over PEDOT:PSS. Optimized SAM deposition techniques enable enhanced charge injection, resulting in PeLEDs with external quantum efficiencies (EQEs) up to 6.8% and increase of the operational stability.

Experiences of women farmworkers in Michigan: Perspectives from the Michigan Farmworker Project

open access: yesAmerican Journal of Community Psychology, EarlyView.
Abstract Agricultural work presents significant physical and social challenges globally and in the United States, with women farmworkers facing unique risks that remain underexplored. This study examines the social and occupational hazards confronted by women farmworkers in Michigan using data from the Michigan Farmworker Project.

Electrostatic self-force in (2+1)-dimensional cosmological gravity [PDF]

open access: yesClass.Quant.Grav. 14 (1997) 3425-3432, 1996
Point sources in (2+1)-dimensional gravity are conical singularities that modify the global curvature of the space giving rise to self-interaction effects on classical fields. In this work we study the electrostatic self-interaction of a point charge in the presence of point masses in (2+1)-dimensional gravity with a cosmological constant.

Frequency and Early Predictors of Cognitive Deterioration in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis: A Longitudinal Population‐Based Study

open access: yesAnnals of Neurology, EarlyView.
Objective The objective is to evaluate cognitive and behavioral progression and identify early predictors of these changes in a cohort of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) patients. Methods A total of 161 ALS patients were tested at diagnosis (T0), and 107 were re‐tested after 1 year (T1) using cognitive/behavioral tests. All patients underwent whole‐
