The Moral Assessment of Violence and Terrorism
2008Abstract The moral problems of violence or terrorism arise in actual contexts. Addressing them may be thought to be a task for applied ethics. However, only if we had adequate normative theories suitable for the diverse contexts of human experience would we be in a position to make valid applications of ethical theory.
