Distribution and disposition of morpholine in the rabbit
Toxicology, 1981The results of a variety of in vivo and in vitro experiments suggested that the kidneys were the primary route of elimination of morpholine in the rabbit. Morpholine was not bound to serum proteins and was excreted 90% unchanged. The concentration of [14C]morpholine in the renal cortex was 6.6 times the concentration in the blood, and in the renal ...

Advances in the Synthesis of Morpholin-3-ones and Morpholin-2-ones
Synthesis, 2012This review covers advances in the synthesis of morpholin-3-ones and morpholin-2-ones. Besides the classical approaches for the preparation of both heterocycles that utilize intermolecular cyclizations of reactants or oxidation of morpholine and its derivatives, strategies employing various ring-expansion reactions using smaller heterocyclic substrates

4-(2,4-Dinitrophenylsulfanyl)morpholine
Acta Crystallographica Section C Crystal Structure Communications, 2006In the title compound, C10H11N3O5S, the 2,4-dinitrophenyl fragment is connected by an S atom to the morpholine ring, which is in a chair conformation. The ortho- and para-nitro groups are slightly twisted out of the plane of the benzene ring. The molecules are linked into C(7) and C(10) chains by two intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds.
