Engineered Exosomal miR‐146a‐5p Reprograms BMSC Fate and Restores Mitochondrial Homeostasis in Glucocorticoid‐Induced Osteonecrosis of Femoral Head

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Exosomal miR‐146a‐5p is identified as a pivotal regulator in steroid‐induced osteonecrosis. Its reduction activates NF‐κB signaling, compromises mitophagy, and disrupts mitochondrial bioenergetics, resulting in autophagic disequilibrium. Engineered exosomes delivering miR‐146a‐5p reinstate mitochondrial function, augment oxidative phosphorylation and ...

Wavelength‐Dependent Photobiomodulation Regulates Macrophage Polarization via Mitochondrial Dynamics and Metabolic Reprogramming

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Light wavelength encodes distinct macrophage fates through mitochondrial and metabolic remodeling. Red 625 nm irradiation induces glycolysis, mitochondrial fission, and M1 polarization, whereas near‐infrared 850 nm irradiation promotes fatty acid oxidation, mitochondrial fusion, and M2 polarization.

Morphological and molecular characters of three Ditylenchus species from Iran

open access: yesTropical Zoology, 2018
During a survey of soil nematodes in Iran, some known species belonging to the genus Ditylenchus were recovered from the rhizosphere of alfalfa: Ditylenchus acutus, Ditylenchus myceliophagus and Ditylenchus terricolus. Measurements and illustrations are

Geometric Morphometric analysis of the Microtus M1 and its application to Early Middle Pleistocene in the UK. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Species of the genus Microtus are known to be some of the most rapidly evolving taxa during the Quaternary. Their remains are common in archaeological and palaeontological contexts and are frequently used in palaeoclimatic and habitat reconstructions as ...

Single‐Cell Reveal GALNT7‐Dependent Ferroptosis Suppression as a Mechanism of Immunotherapy Resistance in Non‐Small Cell Lung Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated clinical and mechanistic analyses identify GALNT7 as a ferroptosis‐suppressive regulator associated with immunotherapy resistance in non‐small cell lung cancer. GALNT7 depletion promotes lipid peroxidation, mitochondrial dysfunction, and ferroptosis, enhances CD8+ T‐cell activation and IFN‐γ production, and sensitizes tumors to PD‐1 blockade,

A morphometry map and a new method for honey bee morphometric analysis by using the ArcGIS

open access: yes, 2013
The morphometric analysis of honey bees has a substantial importance for honey bee subspecies characterization and discrimination while the ArcGIS is a geographical program for data analysis.
