Supporting Sustainability Through Pensions: The Sustainability Preferences of Pension Beneficiaries in the United Kingdom Defined Contributions Pension Schemes

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pension funds are the largest combined institutional investors in the world. The integration of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria into defined contribution (DC) pension investments by pension funds can result in sustainable pensions that are in line with pension beneficiary preferences and help achieve Sustainable Development

Sustainable Healthy Diet Transitions: An Examination of Media Discourse Concerning Beef in the United Kingdom From 2018 to 2022

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The role of diet in individual and planetary health is increasingly scrutinised as consumers are encouraged to make food choices that balance health and sustainability, particularly with beef. While prior research has considered reduction from the perspective of alternate product acceptance, the social context of beef is less understood. Media

On Elastic Morse Scattering [PDF]

open access: yes, 1969
Some calculations have been presented here on elastic scattering by Morse potential by some well-known methods. The influence of Coulomb field on Morse scattering has been discussed in the first approximation and the Schrodinger equation for S-wave ...

Toward a Sustainability Standard for Cultural Organizations: Borrowing From Tourism

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cultural organizations are increasingly engaging with sustainability, yet they lack a sector‐specific standard to guide and institutionalize efforts as long‐term strategies. This study reviews research papers on sustainability standards in the tourism sector, a field with greater experience with such tools, and horizontally borrows insights ...

Morse Potential, Contour Integrals, and Asian Options [PDF]

open access: yes
Completeness of the eigenfunctions of a quantum mechanical system is crucial for its probability interpretation. By using the method of contour integral we give properly normalized eigenfunctions for both discrete and continuum spectrum of the Morse ...

MXene‐Coated, Multi‐Layered Mulberry Paper‐Based Flexible Tactile Sensor With High Sensitivity Over a Wide Pressure Range

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Multi‐layered mulberry paper coated with MXene is used as a pressure‐sensing element in a resistive tactile sensor. The sensor achieves a high sensitivity exceeding 15 kPa−1 over a wide pressure range of 1–1000 kPa, demonstrating a balanced combination of sensitivity and sensing range among paper‐based tactile sensors incorporating MXene.

White light emitting molecular logic gates

open access: yesSmart Molecules, EarlyView.
White light emitting smart molecules with Boolean logic computing ability are surveyed. Abstract White light emitting (WLE) materials are of considerable interest with commercial and societal applications in video displays and lighting devices. A characteristic property of WLE materials is the luminescence profile spanning from 380 to 700 nm.
