Revisiting (quasi-)exactly solvable rational extensions of the Morse potential

open access: yes, 2012
The construction of rationally-extended Morse potentials is analyzed in the framework of first-order supersymmetric quantum mechanics. The known family of extended potentials $V_{A,B,{\rm ext}}(x)$, obtained from a conventional Morse potential $V_{A-1,B}(

Derivation of Morse potential

open access: yesMolecular Physics
The Morse potential is widely used in chemistry, physics, and material science to describe interatomic interactions. We show that the Morse potential can be derived from a simple screened charge model accounting for the shielding of the nuclear charge by electron density.

A LATTICEDYNAMICALSTUDY OF COBALTBASEDONTHE MORSE POTENTIAL

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Research, 2022
The present investigation used modified Morse potential to explain the lattice dynamical behaviour of cobalt. This study finds better agreement between experimental and theoretical results. These findings have been compared with other studies.

Neuromorphic Electronics for Intelligence Everywhere: Emerging Devices, Flexible Platforms, and Scalable System Architectures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The perspective presents an integrated view of neuromorphic technologies, from device physics to real‐time applicability, while highlighting the necessity of full‐stack co‐optimization. By outlining practical hardware‐level strategies to exploit device behavior and mitigate non‐idealities, it shows pathways for building efficient, scalable, and ...

A New Generalized Morse Potential Function for Calculating Cohesive Energy of Nanoparticles

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
A new generalized Morse potential function with an additional parameter m is proposed to calculate the cohesive energy of nanoparticles. The calculations showed that a generalized Morse potential function using different values for the m and α parameters

Flexible Pressure Sensor With Co‐Optimized Sensitivity and Linearity Based on Gradient Toroidal Microstructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A flexible piezoresistive pressure sensor with gradient toroidal CNT/PDMS microstructures is reported. The hierarchical geometry enables sequential electrode contact, achieving a sensitivity of 256.20 kPa−1 and linear response (R2 = 0.99) over 0–1000 kPa.

New Family of Solvable 1D Heisenberg Models

open access: yes, 1994
Starting from a Calogero--Sutherland model with hyperbolic interaction confined by an external field with Morse potential we construct a Heisenberg spin chain with exchange interaction $\propto 1/\sinh^2 x$ on a lattice given in terms of the zeroes of ...

Approximate Analytical Solutions of a Two-Term Diatomic Molecular Potential with Centrifugal Barrier [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Approximate analytical bound state solutions of the radial Schr\"odinger equation are studied for a two-term diatomic molecular potential in terms of the hypergeometric functions for the cases where $q\geq1$ and $q=0$.

The Synergism of β‐Cyclodextrin and Fe3+ Enabled Anti‐Swelling Ion‐Conductive Hydrogels for Multimodal Underwater Sensing Aided by Machine Learning Algorithms

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An anti‐swelling ion‐conductive hydrogel is developed via β‐cyclodextrin and Fe3+ synergism, enabling reliable underwater motion sensing and Morse code communication. Integrated with machine learning, the system achieves 98.6% accuracy in real‐time underwater handwriting recognition for rapid information transmission.
