This study uses the finite element analysis (FEA)-based atomistic-continuum method (ACM) combined with the Morse potential of metals to determine the effects of the elastic modulus (E) of a given example on atomic-level single-crystal copper (Cu).

Application of Morse potential in nonlinear dynamics of microtubules [PDF]
We here present a model of nonlinear dynamics of microtubules using modified extended tanh-function method as a mathematical tool. Interaction between neighbouring dimers belonging to a single protofilament is commonly modelled by a harmonic potential ...

Morse potential in DNA molecule – An experiment proposal
We rely on the helicoidal Peyrard-Bishop model for DNA dynamics. Interaction between nucleotides at a same site belonging to different strands is modelled by a Morse potential energy. This potential depends on two parameters that are different for AT and CG pairs, which is a possible source for inhomogeneity.

Low Energy S-Wave Proton-Deuteron Scattering Phase-Shifts using Morse Potential [PDF]
Background: Study of nucleon-nucleus interaction is important to understand the stabilityof nuclei. At small lab energies ≈ 1-10 MeV, the three body 3He system can be considered asa combination of proton and deuteron two body system.

Spin symmetry in the relativistic q-deformed morse potential [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate the spin symmetry case of a spin 1/2 particle governed by a q-deformed Morse potential by presenting an approximate bound-state solutions of the Dirac equation with the spin-orbit coupling term for spin symmetry vector and ...

The perspective presents an integrated view of neuromorphic technologies, from device physics to real‐time applicability, while highlighting the necessity of full‐stack co‐optimization. By outlining practical hardware‐level strategies to exploit device behavior and mitigate non‐idealities, it shows pathways for building efficient, scalable, and ...

The Morse potential is widely used in chemistry, physics, and material science to describe interatomic interactions. We show that the Morse potential can be derived from a simple screened charge model accounting for the shielding of the nuclear charge by electron density.

Approximate Solutions of the Schrodinger Equation for the Rosen-Morse Potential Including Centrifugal Term [PDF]
Analytical solutions of the Schrodinger equation for the Rosen-Morse potential are presented for arbitrary orbital angular momentum quantum number by using an approximation for the centrifugal term.
