Thermodynamics and energy loss in D dimensions from holographic QCD model

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We consider the holographic QCD model with a planar horizon in the D dimensions with different consistent metric solutions. We investigate the black hole thermodynamics, phase diagram and equations of state (EoS) in different dimensions.

Cryogenic MOS Transistor Model [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 2018
This paper presents a physics-based analytical model for the MOS transistor operating continuously from room temperature down to liquid-helium temperature (4.2 K) from depletion to strong inversion and in the linear and saturation regimes.

Potential analysis of holographic Schwinger effect in the magnetized background

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2020
We study the holographic Schwinger effect with magnetic field at RHIC and LHC energies by using the AdS/CFT correspondence. We consider both weak and strong magnetic field cases with $$B\ll T^2$$ B≪T2 and $$B\gg T^2$$ B≫T2 solutions respectively. Firstly,

Strong photoluminescence enhancement of MoS(2) through defect engineering and oxygen bonding. [PDF]

open access: yesACS Nano, 2014
We report on a strong photoluminescence (PL) enhancement of monolayer MoS2 through defect engineering and oxygen bonding. Micro-PL and Raman images clearly reveal that the PL enhancement occurs at cracks/defects formed during high-temperature annealing ...

Systematical study of Ωc-like molecular states from interactions Ξc(,*)K¯(*) and Ξ(*)D(*)

open access: yesPhysical Review, 2022
In this work, the Ωc-like molecular states are systematically investigated in a quasipotential Bethe-Salpeter equation approach. The relevant interactions Ξc(*,′)K¯(*), Ξ(*)D(*), and Ωc(*)(π/η/ρ/ω) are described by light meson exchanges with the help of the effective Lagrangians with SU(3), chiral, and heavy quark symmetries.

Comparative analysis of natural and synthesized Polish speech [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Electronics and Telecommunications
In the evolving field of speech synthesis, not only intelligibility, but also naturalness remains an important factor. This paper presents a comparative analysis of natural versus synthesized Polish speech. Speech synthesizers: Ivona, Mekatron, Notevibes,

Analysis of Video CODEC Performance Using Different Softphone Applications

open access: yesIJCCS (Indonesian Journal of Computing and Cybernetics Systems), 2021
In a video call there are several components, such as IP phone or softphone, CODEC, and server. Selection of softphone and CODEC is a consideration in building a video communication network because it will affect the quality of video call.

Stability Limits of the Liquid Phase in the Layered Mo/Pb/Mo, Mo/Bi/Mo and Mo/In/Mo Film Systems [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Nano- and Electronic Physics, 2016
The results of the study of supercooling of the fusible metals films between the continuous layers of molybdenum during the crystallization are given. Due to an original in situ technique based on the changes of resistance of samples during heating and cooling directly in the vacuum chamber the values of supercooling in Mo/Pb/Mo, Mo/Bi/Mo, Mo/In/Mo ...
