ABSTRACT The chemical composition of 66 oil samples isolated from the berries of individual trees of Juniperus phoenicea var. turbinata, collected in six locations from Algeria, was investigated by gas chromatography with flame ionization detection, gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry, and 13C‐nuclear magnetic resonance.

Comprehensive study of Algerian nettles: Phenolic content and multifunctional activities of Urtica pilulifera and Urtica urens

This study investigates the phenolic profile, antioxidant capacity, antimicrobial effect, and antihemolytic activity of nettle leaves from Algerian species Urtica pilulifera and Urtica urens. Results show high levels of flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, and terpenoids in the extracts.

Anderson transition in one-dimensional systems with spatial disorder

A simple Kronig-Penney model for one-dimensional (1D) mesoscopic systems with $\delta $ peak potentials is used to study numerically the influence of a spatial disorder on the conductance fluctuations and distribution at different regimes.

Diiridium(III) Complexes with Fluorenylpyridyl Cyclometalating and μ2‐Oxamidato Bridging Ligands and their High Efficiency Phosphorescent Solution‐Processed OLEDs

Diiiridium complexes bridged by μ2‐oxamidato ligands give highly efficient phosphorescent organic light emitting diodes with greenish‐yellow emission. Abstract Three neutral diiridium(III) complexes with 2‐fluorenylpyridyl (flpy) or 5‐fluoro‐2‐fluorenylpyridyl (flpyF) as C^N cyclometalating ligands and a μ2‐oxamidato bridge have been synthesized.
