Molecular Oncology, EarlyView.Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. Primary hydatid cyst of the neck – EPSC 101593
Journal of Pediatric Surgery Case Reports, 2020 Hydatid cyst is a parasitic infection mostly caused by Echinococcus granulosis. The most frequent sites of the cyst are liver and lungs. Occurrence in the head and neck region is extremely rare.

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
FEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

A Depolarizing Leak in Sodium Bicarbonate Cotransporter NBCe1 Causes Brain Edema
Annals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.ABSTRACT Objectives SLC4A4 encodes electrogenic sodium bicarbonate cotransporter NBCe1, prominently expressed in kidney and brain. Recessive loss‐of‐function variants in SLC4A4 cause proximal renal tubular acidosis, no brain edema. In the brain, NBCe1 is expressed by astrocytes, where it regulates pH and mediates astrocyte volume changes.
