Full Poincare-invariant equation of motion for an extended charged particle in an electromagnetic field [PDF]
For the rigid, nonrotating motion of an extended charge in an arbitrary electromagnetic field, an equation of motion is derived by Lorentz-invariantly calculating the 4-Lorentz force = external 4-force + 4-self-force, acting upon the charge. The equation of motion is invariant under any full Poincare transformation.

A Plug-and-Play Physical Motion Restoration Approach for In-the-Wild High-Difficulty Motions [PDF]
Extracting physically plausible 3D human motion from videos is a critical task. Although existing simulation-based motion imitation methods can enhance the physical quality of daily motions estimated from monocular video capture, extending this capability to high-difficulty motions remains an open challenge. This can be attributed to some flawed motion

The Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics (I) [PDF]
Aiming at providing an objective motion picture for the microscopic object described by the wave function, new analysis about motion is presented by use of the point set theory in mathematics, through which we show that a new kind of motion named quantum discontinuous motion is the general motion mode of the particle, while classical continuous motion ...

Is General Relativity a (partial) Return of Aristotelian Physics? [PDF]
Aristotle has split physics at the sphere of the moon; above this sphere there is no change except eternal spherical motion, below are two different kinds of motion: Natural motion (without specific cause) and enforced motion. In modern view motion is caused by gravity and by other forces.

Motion Estimation and Correction in Photoacoustic Tomographic Reconstruction [PDF]
Motion, e.g., due to patient movement or improper device calibration, is inevitable in many imaging modalities such as photoacoustic tomography (PAT) by a rotating system and can lead to undesirable motion artifacts in image reconstructions, if ignored. In this paper, we establish a hybrid-type model for PAT that incorporates motion in the model.

O movimento da Lua tem aspectos pouco intuitivos quando observado de um referencial fixo no Sol. Existem muitas concepções errôneas sobre esse movimento, encontradas em vários textos de referência e aceitas pela maioria das pessoas como parte do senso ...

Robust diffusion parametric mapping of motion-corrupted data with a three-dimensional convolutional neural network [PDF]
Head motion is inevitable in the acquisition of diffusion-weighted images, especially for certain motion-prone subjects and for data gathering of advanced diffusion models with prolonged scan times. Deficient accuracy of motion correction cause deterioration in the quality of diffusion model reconstruction, thus affecting the derived measures.
