Microwave photoresistance in a two-dimensional electron gas with separated Landau levels
Theories of microwave-induced resistance oscillations in high-mobility two-dimensional electron gas predict that with decreasing oscillation order $n$ or with increasing frequency $\omega$ the photoresistance maxima should appear closer to the cyclotron ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

The 1941 miners' strike in northern France: from a dispute over soap to armed resistance [PDF]
In Northern France in 1941, while under German military occupation, 100,000 miners went on strike from the 27th May to the 9th June. This strike not only cost the German war machine half a million tonnes of coal, but also had long-term consequences for ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Limitations of vehicle movement resistances: aerodynamic resistance
In the paper limitations and exemplary methods of aerodynamic drag force minimization in different kinds of vehicles are described. Changes of value of aerodynamic drag coefficient during years are present-ed. Conclusions about future possible new solutions in different kinds of vehicles are formulated.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...
