An OpenMP translator for the GAP8 MPSoC
One of the barriers to the adoption of parallel computing is the inherent complexity of its programming. The Open Multi-Processing (OpenMP) Application Programming Interface (API) facilitates such implementations, providing high abstraction level directives.

Performance modeling of parallel applications on MPSoCs [PDF]
In this paper we present a new technique for automatically measuring the performance of tasks, functions or arbitrary parts of a program on a multiprocessor embedded system. The technique instruments the tasks described by OpenMP, used to represent the task parallelism, while ad hoc pragmas in the source indicate other pieces of code to profile.

Realtime multiprocessor for mobile ad hoc networks [PDF]
This paper introduces a real-time Multiprocessor System-On-Chip (MPSoC) for low power wireless applications. The multiprocessor is based on eight 32bit RISC processors that are connected via an Network-On-Chip (NoC). The NoC follows a novel approach with

Building a RTOS for MPSoC dataflow programming [PDF]
Multiprocessor Systems-on-Chip (MPSoC) are becoming the standard high performance Digital Signal Processing (DSP) systems. Hardware complexity abstraction is needed to enable efficient MPSoC programming. A major challenge of MPSoC programming is efficiently handling the combination of new features necessary in a MPSoC operating system: load balancing ...
