Correlation of clinical signs and symptoms of Behçet’s disease with mean platelet volume (MPV) and red cell distribution width (RDW)

open access: yesOrphanet Journal of Rare Diseases, 2020
Background A strong correlation was previously found between mean platelet volume (MPV), red blood cell distribution width (RDW), and the severity of signs and symptoms in patients suffering from inflammatory and autoimmune diseases.

The Influence of Brand Image, Brand Trust, Product Quality, and Price on the Consumer’s Buying Decision of MPV Cars

open access: yesEuropean Scientific Journal, 2018
This paper focuses on testing the model of consumer’s buying decision of Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) cars. The research model involved four independent variables of brand image, brand trust, product quality and price; and the dependent variable of buying

Prognostic Value of Systemic Inflammatory Indices, NLR, PLR, and MPV, for Predicting 1-Year Survival of Patients Undergoing Cytoreductive Surgery with HIPEC

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Medicine, 2019
The neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR), platelet to lymphocyte ratio (PLR), and mean platelet volume (MPV) have been reported to be associated with the prognosis of various types of tumors.

Use of MPV and MPV/Plt Ratio in the Differentiation of Migraine and Tension-Type Headache

open access: yesActa Haematologica Polonica, 2018
AbstractPurposeMean platelet volume (MPV) is an indicator of platelet (Plt) function and activation. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate whether MPV and MPV/Plt ratio, indicators of Plt activation, are increased in migraine patients, compared to tension-type headache (TTH) and healthy control groups, in our large-scale study, and whether these ...

Migren atakları ve MPV

open access: yes, 2003

Can Machine Learning Reduce Unnecessary Surgeries? A Retrospective Analysis Using Threshold Optimization to Prevent Negative Appendectomies in Adults

open access: yesAnnals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.
Threshold‐optimized machine learning models using routine clinical and laboratory data in 623 adults undergoing appendectomy. Logistic regression (AUC = 0.765) and random forest (AUC = 0.785) were the best‐performing models for appendicitis detection and complicated appendicitis prediction, respectively.
